This expedition would not be possible without all of the awesome people that offered help and support along the way.
Here’s to you!
Nick T. – We really appreciate you holding the house down while we embark on this voyage. We will be so sad to miss your graduation, but are extremely proud of you and will toast your accomplishment from afar!
Sofia & Jerzy – For graciously letting us store our belongings at your house while we take off on this crazy adventure.
Dave & Michele – For sharing your home during the 3 week stint before our departure to Spain. Also for taking care of our mail while we are away.
The O’Neill-Torres Fam – For bidding us our final farewell from America.
Denver Health Travel Clinic – Thanks to the friendly staff who shared their wealth of knowledge about health and travel. Check them out here for help with your own travels.
Vanessa – For two incredible flights and for allowing Mike to take a stab at piloting.
Lilli – For sharing your knowledge about Barcelona and recommending a great day trip to Sitges.
Blake & Danielle – For lending us your Sevici passes and showing us a good time in Sevilla.
Kate – For the medical advice and free samples. Also for the Chacos…my foot tan is coming along nicely.
Jamie – For gifting us your GorillaPod, which has proven to be one of the most useful trinkets we brought along. It has now been re-gifted to our cousin for her upcoming trip to SE Asia.
The Frederiksens – For hosting us in Denmark for a week, the delicious meals, good times, summerhouse trip, red wine, bed time beers and nightly “trips around the world.”
Unknown Person – For gifting us your return train ticket from Vienna to Budapest for free. We will pay it forward to another traveler.
Juan & Suskia – To the coolest Zims we know. Fun times in Split and looking forward to more in Perth! UPDATE: Thanks for following through on your offer to host us in OZ – it was the BEST! Looking forward to returning the hospitality when you come visit us in the States.
Zenia & Gaylon – For the great conversation and coffee in Sarajevo. You are an inspiration to young travelers everywhere!
The Global Table – For the laughs, international connections and “silent time” in Istanbul. Great meeting you all!
Jeff G. – For the great insights on China, helping us purchase our cell phone (we were impressed by your Mandarin skills), hang out session on your balcony and for your general hospitality. Good times.
Amy – For showing us how to dance our way through the expat nightlife in Hong Kong.
Eric – For introducing us to the famous Chinese pastime, KTV! What a fun night in Shanghai.
Sammy D. – For putting us in touch with your friend Eric (above).
Danielle – For the great times at the sand festival in Busan, epic dinner at the Mexican joint, letting us crash on your floor and bringing us along to experience middle school in South Korea. “Do you know Jesus Christ?”
Patricia – For inviting us to spend the day at your school and for a fun day of sightseeing in Kyoto. “Because?…”
Novus Biologicals – For considering our proposal and providing us with the opportunity to work in Japan for a week. And also for your overall support of our RTW adventure.
The family at our favorite bia hoi in Hanoi – Too many of your delicious beers have caused us to forget your names, but you will always live in our memories and we WILL be back next time we’re in Hanoi; perhaps your little boy will be running the show by then.
The guys at Mao’s Red Lounge – For welcoming us to Hanoi the Colorado way.
Aaron – For insisting that Bai Tu Long > Ha Long and suggesting that we visit Quan Lan Island.

The Folks at Angel Dive – For a great three days of SSI certification training and dives. You all made the experience a lot of fun!
Mr. Hao – You entered our life so abruptly as we walked through the alleyways of Saigon’s district 4. Thanks for insisting that we stop to share a beer and chat for a while. Yo!

Ariel – For sharing your Vang Vieng tubing photos with us and the great times at Bob Marley Bar.
Our Pilot Friends (Eric, Mike & Matt) – For the great conversation, bad jokes, and far too many drinks at Cabana on Tioman. We nearly missed our ferry the next morning. We’ll keep an ear out for your voices over the PA on our next flight.
Ronaldino (aka Aaron) – It was so much fun meeting up with you in Christchurch, although too short. Thanks for allowing us to be stowaways in your hotel room, and even letting us use the bed.
Mr. Betts– Thanks for the wine advice in NZ. With that many wineries it helps to have a few suggestions.
Unknown Person – For finding our lost car keys in Lake Wanaka. You saved our day.

Felipe – If you are reading this, you know why you made the Shout Outs page. Thanks again, weon.
Big Dave – What an awesome visit together in Chile! Thank you for making the long trip down to see us, the delicious meals, putting up with all of the walking with never one complain, and also for a delicious last dinner in Santiago.
Meche & Marcelo – For welcoming us into your home for the week of Christmas. It meant so much to spend the holidays with family. Your hijos are precious beyond words.
Ele & Dani – For the fantastic Christmas Day gathering and yummy asado. It was fun to get to know you and your three adorable children.
Belen – ssssshhhhica, gracias por todo. What a fun week and crazy New Year’s celebration! Thank you for allowing us and Adam to crash at your place (and us AGAIN on our second visit to BsAs). You are a good tour guide.

Chris, Vero, Debora, Carolina & Jose – For inviting us to a wonderful asado in Punta del Este. It may be the latest dinner we have ever eaten, but the food was great and the company even better!

Eric – For contributing your “habanero” oil to our stir-fry dinner and the fun night out playing tejo in Salento.
Molly – For welcoming us back into the USA with delicious lamb stew and a warm, comfy bed. You were a great host and we really enjoyed exploring Ft. Greene with you and sharing bottle after bottle of red wine over artisan cheeses.
Andrew – Man that stuff was strong. Thanks for sharing your apartment with us for a few nights in NYC. It’s always good to meet an old friend on the road.
